and I first discovered Land Cruisers back in the early ‘80’s when we needed
a heavy duty and reliable truck for hauling camping gear, three kids, and
a Newfoundland dog. We bought our first FJ60 in 1981. Back
then, we didn’t do things like air down. There were no lifted vehicles
or spring overs. We got where we were going by a combination of good
driving skills and the capable Land Cruiser. Our cruiser collecting
began in 1997 when I noticed a really nice red and white FJ55 that was
advertised for sale on a street corner in Bernillio, New Mexico, near the
New Mexico Wine Tasting Festival. We never bought that FJ55, but
that was the start of our collecting efforts. Today, our collection
totals 23 cruisers. The cruisers shown on this web site are for sale
primarily because they just sit unused. We enjoy driving our favorites.
The others, unfortunately, don’t get driven and that’s bad for any vehicle.
We know that many sellers advertise their cruisers as “rust free” or some
version of that. While some of our cruisers shown here are truly
rust free, some are not. We hope that a combination of a lot of digital
photos, a personal inspection by the buyer, and honest folks like us, will
assure the buyer is getting a good deal. We have other cruisers in
the barn not shown on this web site. Contact us if you’re looking
for something you don’t see here. Thanks for visiting our web site,
we hope to hear from you.
Best,
Bruce Miller
