Suede
is a "Private Club for Members" (State of Utah Law) in the Kimball Junction
area of Park City, Utah. Park City is home to the Sundance
Film Festival, the 2002 Winter Olympics, and many
other events. Suede is just 25 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City
- directly east on I-80 right off the Park City exit. Click

Alcohol
at Suede (and in Utah)

Suede
serves a full line of alcohol and spirits from beer to wine to hard liquor.
Our draft beer, per Utah law, is 3.2% by weight (4.0 by volume
- only 20% less stronger than a Budweiser, for example) and alcohol stops
being served at 1AM. Factor in Park City's altitude (7000 ft) and
most patrons do not notice the difference between 3.2 beer and "regular"
beer. Utah's liquor restrictions do not directly affect any other
types of alcohol. All liquor drinks are dispensed with a "clicker"
(common in England and Canada) that dispense exactly 1 oz. per click insuring
exactly the right amout of alcohol per drink or shot. Some types
of liquor are considered "flavoring" and are unregulated. Honestly,
it is not very hard to get alcohol in Utah and in most cases the reputation
is worse than the actual situation.
Suede's
Music Facilities and Setup

Suede's
facilities include a 25' x 30' (750 square feet) music stage with room
for specators at nearly 220 degrees surrounding the stage. To stage-left
is a large garage-type door that opens to our large outdoor patio overlooking
the backside of Utah's famous 12,000 foot Wasatch Mountains, and spectators
can watch the music from either inside the club or from the patio.
Northern Utah's weather is very mild and particularly in the summertime,
our club has a fresh outdoor breeze even throughout the evening that is
never chilly. During the winter, we place a large tent over the outdoor
patio. This also allows for 220 degrees around the stage during all
4 seasons of the year. Though Suede is on the second floor, there
is an elevator for moving equipment and/or handicapped persons.
Suede features a 100000 Sound System, vip seating, incredible sound, and
la sheik decor.
Sundance
Film Festival & Other Private Events

Suede
is available for private events and buyouts suchas the Sundance Film Festival
and other events. Suede can hold upto 900 people inside (not including
the large patio), free parking for over 1000, and Suede is centrally located
next to Park City's new 8-theatre movie complex that will see considerable

Smoking
x
Suede
welcomes smokers with our state-of-the-art ventilation and smoke removal
system, but on some occations, per performance artist request, Suede will
occationally ask guests to smoke on our patio. There is also a large
patio to the front of Suede as well where stamped patrons can re-enter.
Our
Bars at Suede x
To
stage-right is a large fully serviced bar that can host up to four bartenders
with draft, bottle beer, and spirits available. To the front of Suede
is our second large bar that usually staffs has two or three bartenders
servicing it. This bar is called the "football bar" in regards to
its shape. Suede also usually has two or three bars in service on
the patio on busy nights. All bartenders are professionally trained
and meet all State and Regional requirements per law.

Area, Green Room, & Facilities

Suede
has a 400 square foo Green Room with private bathroom and a VIP area.
Suede features a full security staff on hand, in addition to coat check,
and tickets at the door when not sold out.
